2nd Grade students will explore how the author, Chris Van Dusen, uses imagination, descriptive language, rhyming, story structure, and details to communicate ideas! Students will read each book, respond to comprehension questions, participate in academic conversations, plan and write their own version of the story inspired by the author. Students will investigate designing structures using drawings and hands-on materials!
Participants must currently be in 2 grade.
